Stefan Simons

Stefan Simons is a freelance show producer and field producer for CNN International in Atlanta, Georgia. He produces news programs broadcast around the world from Atlanta and also served as field producer for the CNN networks from Pakistan and Afghanistan during the U.S. military action against Al Qaeda and the Taliban. Prior to coming to the U.S., Stefan worked as a correspondent and documentary producer for several national German networks, and served as a war correspondent in Macedonia during the 1999 NATO bombing campaign of Yugoslavia. He has produced several documentaries for Germany's leading networks, including "Hitler's Helper: The Hunt for Eichmann" and "Firestorm: The Bombing of Dresden". He has reported from several countries in the Middle East and South America and owned his own production company, developing political and social reports for Germany's public and private television networks.
